This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are diverse, warm, caring, and have the biggest, loving hearts. The students I serve have many reasons for needing extra care academically, socially, and emotionally. Ninety-eight percent of the students at our school are at the poverty level. 95% of my classroom are minority students, and many of my students also have special and unique needs.

We want to provide the materials they need to stay safe and healthy

Our students have so much to overcome, but they are smart, resilient, and have so much more to learn.

Together with your help, we can inspire them to know their worth, to conquer all, and to make great gains! We want to teach them that they can make a difference and that we are here to help them do that.

We want to let them know we care by helping meet their basic needs to show them that we can make a difference for them. Most of all we want to show them that we support them with love! We want to use this experience to help inspire them and to show the world we can come together and we can do anything!

With theses supplies we will be able provide the students the ability to stay healthy. The Kleenex will allow us to be able to provide them with necessities when they are not feeling well. The Band-Aids will allow us to help our students when they get hurt in school. The wipes will allow us to keep our kids healthy during school, and keep them safe.
