Healthy and Beauty Aide Support

Help me give my students basic healthy and beauty supplies such as: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, toothbrushes, femine products, deodorant, laundry detergent, and soap at home.

My Students

My students are young men and young ladies who live in the "most dangerous" city in the US as well as being labeled one of the "highest poverty rates." They struggle daily in many ways to make it to school, but once they arrive they are ready to go. We have breakfast together and then we are off on our learning adventure for the day. My students come to school to learn. They have plans for college, and to reach those goals we push every day to overcome the struggles they face.

My Project

Our school is trying to set up a closet for health and beauty products and home cleaning items for our families in need. We are working on having donations to keep our closet replenished and filled with needs that some of our families have. Some of our families struggle with basic needs from shampoo to laundry detergent, and we want to help our students and families who don't have those basic needs.

Imagine coming to school worried about being clean or being able to wash your clothes?

I don't want that for our students so we are beginning an OWL closet of supplies to support our students so their focus can be on learning and growing!
