I am a school nurse over at the elementary level. I love each and every single one of my students and they are my inspiration for everything and anything I do or add to the clinic! Since I am a nurse and not a teacher, all of the students in the school are "my students", from Pre-Kindergarten all the way up to 5th grade. Meaning kiddos from ages 3 all the way to 11! Which means I have many students I am responsible for making sure they are safe, happy and healthy!
While I am only at the Elementary Level, some of the other schools have asked for my assistance to help with supplies they need for their schools to make sure their students are healthy, clean, warm and well taken care of.
So, my students and I have taken on the challenge to spread the joy, cheer and love of the season and create a project in helping our surrounding schools in our district!
My Project
With your help in donations you can help support students not only from my school where I currently reside (Elementary Level) but you will be helping students from ages Pre-K all the way to 12th grade! Our surrounding schools have asked for my assistance in helping to encourage healthy lives for their students as well at their schools! The items listed not only will be benefitting students in my school but they will be helping benefit the lives of MULTIPLE students in many schools within our district!
Some schools in our district are running out or cannot provide some personal hygiene and safety supplies in order to keep their students healthy.
With these items students will be able to have clean teeth, good personal hygiene, and remain healthy with their new mask as we venture into flu season and hopefully navigate out of covid!
Our district is in a low-economy status area and many of our students are unable to provide or have access to some of these everyday supplies that may come easily to you or I. With your support with donations, we can provide these items for students. Not only promoting a healthy lifestyle, but letting them know that there is someone out there or within their school who cares about their health and wellbeing.
