This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am getting to know my new group of 4th graders well as trimester one is well on it's way. This group is inquesitive, learning, and young at heart. They so badly want to be recognized and to do well. They especially thrive on positive reinforcements. These health and wellness materials will make a positive impact reaching low socioeconomic families, as many of my students live among the poverty line. With hormone changes happening and big emotions these kids face it is cruical they have the needs necessary to handle changes.

With your donation to our class project you will help fund feminine hygiene projects, deodorant for students who are needing these products and do not have or cannot afford them.

Your donation will also help crerate our classrooms calming corner to help with those high social-emotional needs. Without a high focus on Social Emotional Learning, you will not have high quality out put in academics, I believe they cannot exist without the other.
