Health Matters! Classroom Bin

My Project

I have kept a bin of basic health supplies in my classroom for the past few years. Items such as feminine products, bandaids, and cough drops are the top reasons why students need to go to the school nurse. By keeping a classroom bin with these items I can help lessen the traffic flow through the nurse's office. It also lessens my students' time away from direct instruction.

All students should have access to health supplies such as bandaids (in their skin color), cough drops, and feminine products.

In our middle school classroom, I emphasize the importance of only taking what you need and allowing students open access to these resources.
