My Project

"Movement" is our mantra for '23-'24.

We are a class of active kids.

While in the classroom we have flexible seating to better support our learning. The futons would can create a more welcoming learning environment for students to move around the room when working collaboratively on projects. Outside, during P.E. or my afterschool athletics club, we participate in movement activities to support learning and health as well. The Scoop-ball game will support body mechanics, active movements and muscle strength. The pickleball set will help students with social skills, teamwork, and muscle strength in a fun and creative way.

The goal for this project is to be fully inclusive for all students. We want to get kids moving inside and outside of the classroom." Games with movement are a great way to support social emotional skills, collaboration, and of course, fun!
