My Project

The art supplies in this project will assist me as I run art groups at the high school. Each student handles their emotions and feelings differently. Some students grow and process through speaking to someone. However, other students process and learn through creating art.

Art has the power to heal.

The Healing Art Groups will utilize a variety of techniques to help students process their emotions. Each time the group meets there will be a focus. As students create, they will have an opportunity to write down their goals as they find ways to feel centered.
