Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come from many different countries and are all learning the English language. Many of them are newcomers and are excited to learn the language and start reading independently. The Fundations sound cards will enable me to teach children the sounds the letters make, as well as putting the sounds together to make words.
The headsets will enable my students to work online listening to stories in English and learning letter sounds during center time.
It will increase their confidence once they start learning new vocabulary words in English and set them up for success.
