My Students
My sensational seconders are enthusiastic learners that love science, technology, engineering, art, and math. They are a diverse group of students with a range of abilities, backgrounds, cultures and linguistic abilities. Their families applied to our STEM school, because they support our school vision to prepare their child for college and 21st Century careers through innovation, inquiry, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. They love to share their ideas as their interests in the world around them grows with each day. Collaboration and creativity are part of our everyday learning goals. Small group learning helps us address the variety of individual needs these amazing 21st Century learners need and deserve.
My Project
Headsets with a microphone are essential for every student learning from home. There are so many noises and distractions at home, making distance learning and students' abilities to focus difficult. There are many students with siblings and parents working from home, which enhances the noise level around them. On top of that, there are barking dogs, leaf blowers, televisions, sirens, and countless other noises filtering into our classroom Zoom sessions.
Headset are an indispensable tool that will help block out all the extra noises surrounding my students.
With the attached microphone, each student's voice will be heard. Their focus, participation, and overall confidence will be enhanced with their own personal headsets.
