Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I want to create an environment where all students can learn and thrive at high levels. My classroom is made up of a variety of immigrants, first year English language learners, and emerging native speakers.

As their teacher, I want to cultivate a learning community full of risk takers, goal getters, and future leaders.

I am requesting a class set of headphones with microphones. The students will use these to practice their oral, listening, and comprehension skills all year long. I have students who do not have a lot of schooling background and have a harder time grasping on-level reading material. This will help them listen to the material and follow along. These resources will help foster independence, inspire curiosity, facilitate academic achievement, and allow my students to soar to new heights.
