My students LOVE to learn and explore in kindergarten. Over half of my students entered kindergarten at least a year below grade level. We are a Title 1 school and the students come from many different backgrounds, but the majority of students are from low economic status homes.
My students are eager to learn new and exciting things in kindergarten.
My students always give 100% and want to show us that they can do their best on classroom activities. My students are creative and enjoy having the opportunity to share their creativity.
My Project
In my classroom we are 1 to 1 with iPads. We would love headphones in order to let the kids listen to stories, play games, and even record themselves reading, and telling about the story. This would decrease the amount of noise and distractions in my classroom.
The headphones would help my students gain fluency in reading, improve oral comprehension, and develop independence.
The headphones would benefit all the kids and each child would have their own set for individual use. The students would love being able to read to me and I would love to be able to hear them clearly.
