Headphones...Shhh Please! We Are Highly Engaged and Busy Learning!

My students need a classroom set of headphones in order to maximize and differentiate their learning by listening to engaging digital lessons.

My Students

Our school is a Title I campus and economically disadvantaged with 57% of the student population receiving free and reduced lunches. I have a very diverse group of students who come ready and determined to learn. They have shown perseverance and grit this past year accomplishing the most growth in math across the 4th grade classes. They love using technology to help them learn the math concepts needed to be successful. This year we were 91% passing on their Math STAAR test!

My Project

We really need a class set of headphones, so that my students will be able to listen to the math and science lessons and interactives needed to help them succeed. Currently we only have 4 headphones that students are taking turns using. Most of the time students have to move into the flex space or into the hallway to listen to the needed content. With these headphones, students will be able to stay in the classroom and be more productive in their learning.

Students will be able to use the digital websites such as khan academy, stemscopes, quizziz, studyjams, flocabulary, and brainpops any time during the class because we will have a class set of headphones.
