Headphones to Support All Readers Accessing Grade Level Content
Help me give my students headphones to access applications like iReady and digital read aloud books in class, using text to speech features to support our many emergent and multilingual language learners and boost their reading comprehension success.

By funding this project, you are supporting readers who aren’t quite at grade level yet.
Currently, our classroom only has a handful of older headphones that are only partially functional.
We could greatly use and appreciate new headphones that can be used all year long in our classroom.
These headphones will be used to support our literacy instruction block. During the first half, students engage in whole class teacher led instruction. In the second half, they are able to independently practice skills and explore books through their school provided iPads.
With headphones, they will be accessing text to audio features on reading applications like iReady and other digital ebook reading platforms so that students of all reading levels in my class can access reading comprehension instruction and find joy in enjoying a book being read aloud to them.
