This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are a fifth-grade class. My students have a passion for learning despite the challenges they face at home! They love to engage with technology, especially since most of them do not have access to it at home. Every time technology is used in the classroom, learning really becomes alive, and my students are very engaged! They are always willing to try their best and work hard. The majority of my students qualify for our free lunch program and many come from families that experience economic hardship.

My Project

This project will provide my students with individual bluetooth headphones.

We are requesting help with headphones to enhance student learning.

My students have to use headphones or earbuds every day for interactive math/reading lessons. These students need repeated instruction with the math and reading standards. These headphones will allow them to have this during center activities while I pull students for small group instruction. These headphones will allow the students to continue building critical thinking skills.

My students and I will be grateful with any help you can provide us. These headphones will improve student concentration at school and at home.
