This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students use headphones during independent work time in literacy and math when doing their Lexia and Dreambox programs. We do each program for 15-30 minutes a day. Currently I have many students with broken headphones so it is hard for all of them to focus when they are hearing the sounds from each others chromebooks. It would be super helpful to have a new class set of headphones as well as some extras for when some inevitably break in the future. The ziplock bags and magnets are for storing the headphones on magnetic surfaces in our classroom.
