My Students

My students walk into our classroom every day excited and full of stories to share. My students love to color, listen to stories read aloud, and explore new material.

I teach at a Title I school in South Carolina where 100 percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.

Many of our students receive backpack food on the weekend. Many of my students do not have access to technology at home or someone to share a story with. Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and enjoy coming to school each day.

My goal is to make learning exciting and enjoyable every day.

My Project

These headphones will be a tremendous blessing to our class. Many of my students are missing out on the opportunity to engage in digital learning. Since we have a large class size the students must have headphones or they can not hear the instruction or lesson.

My students love to listen to stories read aloud and complete fun engaging phonics and math lessons but without the headphones they are unable to take advantage of these engaging activities.

Due to not being able to take advantage of all of our classroom devices at one time the students are not having enough time to complete a lesson or listen to a book fully read aloud with out having to stop and let someone else have a turn.
