My Students

Third-grade students are like sponges longing to soak up as much new information as possible. Third grade is a very important grade where students learn independence. They are reading to learn and trying to experience things for themselves. We work hard to build independence.

All students and their individual learning styles are celebrated in my class.

Each child is unique! I try hard to ensure all of my students' needs are met in every way possible! DonorsChoose items help me meet each student's individual needs.

My Project

This project will help purchase ten pairs of durable, kid-tested, compact, foldable headphones. These awesome headphones earned the 2019 Teacher Choice Award for their "exceptional quality and outstanding performance in the classroom."

Students today are often learning at their own pace and need the materials to help them be successful.

Today's students are listening to a story, watching an academic lesson or video, or playing a learning game on their Chromebooks. Headphones are an essential piece of the technology the kids use every day. Unfortunately, earbuds that the students bring to school do not last, are easily lost and break. This project will provide ten pairs of durable headphones for the classroom. In addition, it comes with ten durable plastic boxes to store the headphones.
