This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My 2nd graders love working on their laptops! We are so fortunate to have laptops in our classroom. Each day, my students use their laptops when they are working on the Lexia Reading program and the Reflex Math program.

My students need headphones to use when they are working on their laptops.

Not all of my students' families are able to afford headphones. I would like to have a class set of 30 headphones to use when we are working on our laptops.

My Project

Headphones would make such a difference in my students' lives. There are 28 students in our classroom. It can get very loud when all of my students are working on their laptops.

My students need headphones to use when we are working on our laptops.

If each of my students had a set of headphones, it would be much quieter in our classroom while we were working on our reading and math skills. My students would be able to focus more on the questions that they were being asked. They would also be able to focus more on their responses. I think my students would be more successful in their learning if they could hear and focus better on their lessons.
