My Students

My students drive me to be an energetic, enthusiastic, and empowering teacher. I want to provide them with the best educational experience possible.

My students have such an excitement for learning and a desire to dig deeper.

Their number one passion right now is technology! We are in a world of technology and it is my goal to feed their hunger to learn more about technology. I am currently earning my technology endorsement and have such exciting ideas to share with my class.

My students come from a variety of backgrounds. Some come from an ESL home, low to high income, and students with special needs. We live in an urban city. Our school is a combination of Cluster/Support classrooms mixed with general education. We have grades preK to 6th grade.

My Project

As a school, we are constantly replacing headphones. We share 30 headphones with the whole third grade. We are to the point now, where there aren't any headphones for the class to have, so we have to share.

I believe that one day every child will have headphones of their own.

We use technology every day in my classroom. There are many assignments and learning we cannot do without the use of headphones. My students won't have to come up to me and say there aren't any more headphones, I can't get my assignment finished.

With headphones, my students can listen to books, play interactive educational games, create book trailers, and much more!
