My Project
As per the research, we as a school are trying to keep our kids off of their phones and improve their focus skills.
Many of us, however, benefit from listening to music while we work.
This was one function that phones helped provide for my students during quiet working periods. I hate the idea of trying to tell them they must work in silence, but allowing small conversations usually spirals out of control.
With a class set of headphones like these, I can reasonably suggest they listen to music via their computers, thus letting them protect their own learning environment while not having to make exceptions to our phone use policy.
