This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students in our classroom come from a variety of backgrounds and family demographics. Most of the students live in affordable housing and face financial difficulty in their day-to-day lives.

In our classroom, we make every student feel welcomed and loved.

We strive to offer a very loving and supportive environment. My classroom has the privilege of 5 additional students every day to join us from Life skills. We love being able to include these students in our school day.

My students are the cream of the crop. They work diligently every day always giving me their very best. I would like to be able to give some of that back to them. Please consider helping me!

My Project

In our classroom, we use technology nearly every day. With the use of technology, headphones are essential in order to not disturb other students from their learning.

We often don't have sufficient headphones for all students.

The ones we do have that have been with us for many, many years are no longer in proper working condition. Students have left to have to not use headphones with their volumes turned really low.

With a new set of headphones, my students will not have to worry about grabbing a pair of headphones that may or may not work. These new headphones will be a great addition to our success.
