My students need headphones to work independently on Math facts, Reading comprehension tests and writing assignments.

My Students

Our school is located in a suburban city outside of Los Angeles.

We have a diverse student population with various reading abilities and different levels of exposure to literature.

Our goal this year is to develop a lifelong love of reading for each student. We would like to give them that love of reading by providing a variety of literature and non- fiction texts. Our students are engaged, excited and attentive while reading independently as well as with their peers.

My Project

My students work on the A-Z app which allows them to listen, reach and test on stories. These headphones will allow all of my students to take these tests independently and free of distractions. They will be able to raise the volume level or turn it down to the appropriate level for them. The students will also be able to practice math concepts on the I pads and get immediate feed back on which problems they have trouble with and which are correct.

Headphones will open up opportunities for more i-pad activities and give them the privacy they need to focus.
