Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are wonderful young musicians who come from a diverse community. Each one of them brings their own unique assets to the classroom in order to create a beautiful and multicultural learning environment where we all learn and support one another.
My students are smart and thrive for academic success.
They actively engage in the music classroom through artistic self-expression and enjoy learning and understanding how musical concepts lead to new ways of communication.
My Project
My students are currently learning to compose music using a variety of resources. They are eager to express their musical ideas using technology and be able to share them with their classmates. They feel proud of their music and are excited to continue learning to apply the musical concepts they have learned in class through their own work.
Students will benefit from this project because headphones provide the students with the tranquility they need, in order to organize their ideas without disruption from other student's work.
Headphones will also allow my students to keep track of their work by listening to their compositions in real-time.
Students will be able to work independently and have a sense of privacy while developing their ideas, as well as revising their music and polish their work with more accuracy.
