Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I'm excited to continue my teaching with our Multi-Language Learners this coming school year. I'm expecting back many of my students for this current school year and especially our students from Guatemala, Egypt, and Afghanistan and, who knows, maybe Ukraine, too! The students I teach are just learning to understand the English language and how to speak short sentences and ask questions. We need new headphones for our work.

Headphones with microphones are especially important when using our English computerized learning program with our students.

Students begin by listening to grammatically correct question and statements in English. Then they practice speaking it, repeating it into the microphone.

These headphones are needed to complement my classroom instruction in order to help MLL students to learn English to communicate efficiently and effectively in their communities and at school. We build language success for them to succeed.
