Headphones for Students

My Students

My students attend a high-poverty middle school in Seattle. All of my students have Individual Education Plans and require additional support in all classroom settings, and many of them are students with high-functioning Autism. Even though school is hard for many of them, they have a strong will to succeed and do their best every day.

The items for this project will be used to to help students with reading and writing in the classroom.

Now that all kids have access to computers, I really want to make sure they have good headphones to use while using text to speech or speech to text.

My Project

All of my students now have laptops and need help getting headphones to use while at school or when working remotely. The school has limited headphones to give out for student use.

My students have special rights and all require IEP support and headphones will help them so much in class!

I want to make sure my students have access to headphones that block out other noises and help them complete assignments.

Having headphone in class will help them access accommodations such as speech-to-text and text-to-speech. Let's make their lives easier!

I have also added a gift card to Teachers Pay Teacher which helps me find material for student progress monitoring.
