This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We’re hoping to get a little help to buy headphones with microphones so our Unidos students can take the STAMP test—an important assessment that measures how well they can read, write, listen, and speak in both English and Spanish. Doing well on the STAMP test means they can qualify for the Massachusetts State Certificate of Biliteracy, which recognizes their hard work and skills in two languages. It’s a big deal—it is one step toward the Seal of Biliteracy, which can lead to college credit, scholarships, and job opportunities down the line. With the right tech in place, we can make sure every student has a fair shot at earning this recognition!
