Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are the ones that are often overlooked, but they have so much love for learning and a drive to defy the odds. As this is my first year, I cannot say too much about them besides the fact that they are awesome and are going to need so many things to help them be the best they can be.

The following are headphones that my students need to better learn in class.

We are a class that utilizes audiobooks, and being able to listen to a text individually is needed for differentiation purposes.

My Project

The headphones my students have, currently are bulky, and more than half don't work. With enough pairs for everyone, my students will get the learning they need via auditory reading. My kids are independent learners, and can utilize these to create the learning space best for them. Each child will have a pair of headphones, so working independently, listening to videos and audio to supplement their projects as well as utilizing audiobooks paired with their texts means better learning for all of my kids. Your donation means a lot to my students, I told them I was starting this project for them. Thank you!
