Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come from all over the world! In my classroom, all of my students are ESOL students (meaning that English is their second language). At my school, over 90% of the students receive free and/or reduced lunch, and over 70% of the students are English Language Learners.

As a kindergartner, the formal education experience is very new to most of my students.

As a Kindergarten teacher, I want to create a positive environment that will foster a love of learning for the rest of their educational career.

My Project

In our classroom, we use the tablets, chrome books, and computers daily for math and literacy. Currently, we do not have headphones for the computers, chrome books, and tablets, which can get noisy at times.

The headphones are needed to keep the noise level down in our classroom, so the other students who are not working with technology, can focus.

Thanks to donors like you, we have the proper technology we need in our classroom. The head phones will be used with our computers, chrome books, and tablets in our classroom. Please help us get new headphones. We truly appreciate your support. Thank you!
