This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to help my students stay motivated and have fun learning.
My students enjoy coming to school each day.
They love learning and researching new things. They just need the tools that will help them achieve these goals. Our students range from visual to tactile learners. They work best with color coded charts showing them each step of the way.
My Project
A lot about the upcoming school year is still uncertain! Some students will be fully remote learning, and some may spend some time in the school building. One thing we know for sure though, is that technology will be used more so this year than any other year. The use of devices and video lessons and video conferences will be abundant.
That is why headphones will become one of the most important tools for our students learning.
Whether in the normal classroom, or at home in their new learning spaces, students will need headphones to help them focus and hear their lessons and meetings. Even when working independently, many students benefit from headphone use to drown out distractions. Please help our students get the most out of online learning!
