Headphones for Musical Heads Part 2!

Help me give my students quality headphones to practice keyboard skills, use practice tracks, and complete close-listening assignments.

My Project

Our music room contains 18 touch-sensitive Yamaha electronic pianos with weighted keys. We believe that every musician greatly benefits from learning basic keyboard skills and therefore we teach keyboard skills to every one of our music students. Keyboard skills not only help them understand the rudiments of music theory and broaden their horizons but also help their ears to develop harmonic relationships. Not every student enters the classroom with a pair of quality headphones and when multiple students play the pianos simultaneously it is very distracting to everyone.

Each student will be able to learn in their own artistic space with the addition of these quality headphones.

Just as a painter often begins with a canvas devoid of someone else's paint, each music student deserves to practice in an acoustic space free from extraneous sound waves.

These headphones will also be used by students to listen to practice tracks for choir and to complete close listening assignments as they explore new genres of music.
