This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach eighth grade students, many of which are English Language Learners, resources like brainpop, edpuzzle and youtube are extremely valuable to language acquisition. Often it is difficult for them to watch a video with just the captions on, or on a low volume since there are many other students watching at the same time.
With your help, each student can have access to headphones to use, so they can listen to the videos and hear reading out loud without causing interruption to others.
This tool will be indispensable in our classroom and will allow students to have a more personalized experience that caters to diverse learning needs.
