Headphones for Little Wildcats

My Project

There are a handful of students in every class I teach that become overstimulated due to the nature of the music classroom. While I have expectations about how we sing, or how to play the instruments, I always remind students that when 30 people are all doing the same thing together, it’s going to be loud!

I do what I can for my students who become overstimulated by the volume.

I have a space set up in the back of the room for them to take breaks as needed.

These earmuffs would be game changing for my students with sensory needs. We do not have enough in our building as is to keep some in the music room, so I am trying to be proactive and help students have the means to enjoy music class again!
