Headphones for Lexia Learners

Help me give my students headphones to use during their Lexia program. Lexia is a language arts program that supports students where they are at and moves with them in their learning.

My Students

I have an amazing group of kindergarten students in my class. We have a great time as we work together to create a community of lifelong learners who help each other and love to learn.

I believe every student can learn.

As we work together, I love seeing the light turn on as students grasp the concepts we are working on. I love finding the little things that reach one student and help them connect to what we are learning.

My students come from varying backgrounds. Some have experienced trauma in their lives. Others have to put a little more effort into learning. Some came to school already reading, while others didn't know any of the letters of the alphabet. Some are learning English as a second language. It is amazing to see everyone come together as a community as we learn and grow throughout the year.

My Project

Our school has received a grant that gives our students access to the Lexia language arts program. Each child has a personal goal to reach as they work on Lexia every week on our iPads.

If students have individual headphones, they will be able to work uninterrupted on their iPads to reach their learning goals.

Without headphones, students are distracted by the sounds coming from the other iPads in the classroom.

My students will better be able to reach their learning goals on Lexia if they have individual headphones to use. They will be able to focus better on their individual learning activities.
