This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have a class of sweet, energetic 5-6 year olds. They love to learn and explore the world around them. My students live in a high-poverty community. They come from loving homes where their parents work hard to provide for their basic needs, However, providing headphones for their students can be a huge financial burden.

By providing each student with their own set of headphones we are giving each student something they can call their own.

The headphones also help me as a teacher not have to listen to 20-30 different computers at the same time.

The headphones will be used during our individual math and reading instruction, allowing each student to receive instruction tailored to their individual needs.
