Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Headphones will help my students to concentrate and be able to hear better when taking a test. Also, while taking a district or state test. In addition, we use our headphones for our math test and so, if we have better quality ones it will give us a better chance to continue working and not take them off while testing.
Our school community is a free and reduce lunch so this will help give them a better experience at Keller.
As a parent I provide better headphones for my child but I understand that not everyone has the possibility to buy their children better headphones. Also, if they forget the ones from their house I have ones they can use in our class. Also headphones block the noise so they can focus while working on assignments. Also if all of them have their own set it will limit the germs spreading.
Students love using the headphones while playing learning games and it helps them to be more interactive. Last, as a Dual Language teacher I have my students practice listening and speaking so headphones are needed.
