Headphones for Learning

My Students

My students come to me with very little exposure to reading, writing, science, and math outside of what they learned in kindergarten. They are eager to be at school and to grow as learners.

I teach in a building that is in a low income/high poverty area.

These kids don't always have food to eat or clean clothes to wear. Some come to school with very few school supplies. They come to school hoping for a chance to learn and grow each day.

My Project

We work a lot on our computers. We need headphones so that we can focus on our work we do daily.

Most of the testing we do is on the computer.

Having these headphones will help us focus on our testing without interrupting others around us. We also use computers to work on various websites that help with our reading, spelling, science and math skills.

Our students can not afford to purchase their own quality headphones to use in our class. With each kid having their own headphone, we will not have to worry about germs or other health issues.
