My Students

They like to move, they love to read and love lots of positive attention. From the minute they walk in the door of my classroom, I focus on their potential and growth while they are with me. I may not be able to control their home lives, however, I can certainly control their experience during the school day. By doing this in a creative and positive way, I am hopeful to inspire even our earliest learners to continue on a path of academic excellence.

My Project

My students like using different technologies everyday. I’m a classroom of 25+ students all using technology it can become noisy! Several of the apps that we use have loud noises and songs that can be distracting to others that are trying to learn. Our class is requesting headphones so students can work independently on iPads, laptops, and especially in the listening center. They are able to concentrate on their activity more when they have their own set of headphones! Our class will be forever grateful for the addition of these headphones. They will truly help the learning of our students!
