Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
They are willing to try new things, but they have a hard time getting support at home due to them being from low income families.
I am teaching the students about math, language, social studies and science and how to apply these things to everyday life and explain that this will help them in the future.
It would be nice to get a little help to get them more engaged and or excited in learning and maybe keep their focus on their work.
My Project
Children will be able to have their own individual headphones and do not have to worry about germs from others. This will also help them to stay on task and not get distracted. (This will reduce the noise around them.) They will have their own bag that they will keep them in and when it's time to get them or put them away, they will have a routine and know where they go. These headphones will be taken care, I think, by the students, because these will be their and hopefully will not be broken as with previous headphones. We have had so many replacements throughout this year, it would be a nice change to see that they do not have to worry about if they have a pair that work.
