I teach in a low income area in our district. Many of our students have challenges in their home lives, and I'm looking for a way to create a peaceful and happy learning environment.
Our school is a Title I funded school with a large population of military students and neighborhood students.
With all of the obstacles my kids face every day, they always come into my classroom eager to learn with big smiles on their faces. All children are capable of being successful in school; we just need to give them the opportunity to do so.
These headphones will allow my students to work independently on their math program that is designed specifically for their needs. These headphones will also provide my students with the ability to listen to read alouds and use our reading intervention program. Most of all, these headphones will provide my students with the ability to focus more on their independent work and keep daily distractions down to a minimum.
Having these headphones will give these students the opportunity to watch videos of our world, listen to books, and practice typing.
Think about how much this can make the world come to life with these kids. They can learn about other cultures as well as their own community.
