My students need headphones to use with educational computer programs. Headphones allow the students to hear programs which will help to reenforce individualized learn skills improving and increasing student attention and focus.

it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My classroom is a wonderful combination of English Language Learners, Special Education and Regular Education students. I work for Chicago Public Schools in a low income area with 100% of all students receiving free breakfast and lunch. The families of my students find it difficult to purchase basic supplies their children.
By donating to my project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
Our school's budget is limited by the district and state. Ever year the budget has been slashed to the point that the school doesn't have the funds to purchase items we need to help our students be successful.
My Project
Headphones would be used daily in my classroom to access computer programs the school and I have purchased to enhance the individual learn of each student. The computers in our computer lab are not the newest but they are functioning. However, we don't have headphones for our students so they can listen to the animated teachers as each animation teaches and reinforces skills students are learning. My students are able to watch the animations but can't hear the programs because our most of the computers don't have functioning speakers. Without headphones my students are missing out on important information they need to learn. Headphones would allow my students to learn in an environment conducive for learning reducing ambient noises to increase focus and attention.
