My students are some of the brightest people I have met. They are active and so full of life. This year some of the children assigned to my classroom are former students from two years ago. These students asked me if they would be able to use my personal laptop computers this coming year. They also wanted to know what other new technology I had. My students want to have technology in the room and are motivated to learn using technology. The school is located community where the crime rate is the highest in our city. The community two years ago had 200 homes in foreclosure and many of the businesses had closed. More than 90% of all students receive free and reduced lunch. The parents and teachers have good relationships and communicate on a regular biases. We provide opportunities for parents to participate in seminars about nutrition, how to help your child with homework and more.
