My students need headphones when they are working on the computer and on their IPads. Students are required to get at least 90 minutes a week of IStation, MindPlay, and Exact Path.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We have a lot of the students who come from high poverty homes. We would love to see the students engaged in their learning and get the most out of their education. We integrate our units/lessons with science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics.
These students are learning the 1st grade curriculum as well as they are learning skills to help them in their every day life.
These students are eager to learn and just need a couple necessary items to help this.
My Project
Students need headphones so they are not distracted by what is going on around them. It will help them focus on their learning and make it more feasible for other students around them to learn without hearing their computers or iPads. We use computers and iPads during centers which is a distractions to the other four groups when they hear the noises coming from the electronics.
These students strive to get the most of their education.
They want to make sure they are learning. Many of the students in my class range from Tier 1 to Tier 3 and want to do better.
