My Students

My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They absolutely love active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration!

Curious, enthusiastic, and creative; my students are eager to immerse themselves in any kind of challenge.

I am a third-grade teacher in MI. I work in an at-risk school and it is difficult to bring technology into the classroom to help enhance their learning and creativity. Last year we were one-to-one with Chromebooks, but unfortunately, as I learned, most students are unable to get headphones to complete their assignments.

My Project

All students deserve the chance to succeed in class and work in an environment conducive to learning. I have been working in my district for 15 years and more and more students do not come to class with the necessary school supplies, like headphones. I often purchase the supplies with my own money so that the students do not need to feel embarrassed.

These headphones will allow each student to complete their work in a distraction-free environment and not feel uncomfortable.

Since we are 1 to 1 with Chromebooks, having headphones is a necessity. These headphones will cancel out unwanted noise and distractions. Please help us meet our goal.
