My Students

I am a Kindergarten Teacher in a Title I school. I have a class full of five year olds that are eager to learn how to read, write, complete mathematics and science. My students have to know how to problem solve in real world situations. Most importantly, my students need to be prepared for college and career ready standards. They need to know how to use computers proficiently. My students love to be exposed to lessons that are engaging and exciting! We use computers everyday!

My Project

We use headphones in our class on a daily basis. Most students bring in headphones that are made for adults. The headphones do not fit properly. The headphones I plan to purchase are made for kids! Each headphone has an adjustable ear and head piece; as well as, a volume control dial. These headphones also have a multifunction jack so that the children can use them in our laptops, iPads and for our listening center. Headphones can really help keep our classroom noise level low. Students that are working on learning games can hear better. These headphones will help my classroom function even better.
