Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are energetic, inquisitive, and enthusiastic learners! They are digital learners, too, engaging in adaptive programs to gain skills to help move them to the next level. They also love listening to stories on their devices!
My students are part of a Title I school that has a unique set of needs that our school strives to meet daily.
We are a one-to-one device school, and having headphones for each student is essential for reducing noise and distractions in our classroom. While wearing the headphones, my students will be engaged in differentiated activities on their devices, including listening to books, playing educational games, completing assignments, and taking assessments. These activities provide me with data for creating small group lessons based on their individual needs.
My students will be able to focus and achieve more success while using their device while wearing headphones.
The option to connect the headphones is an added benefit that will enable students to work and listen together.
