Headphones for Happy Kids

My Students

Teaching was not something I expected to do but since choosing this path I have loved it! Working in the classroom with my students is demanding and very time-consuming. However, there are few things as worthwhile as building foundations for the next generation.

The students I work with are motivated to learn and progress.

Some come from homes that may be considered disadvantaged, but that doesn't keep them from being dedicated. It's amazing to see how unique each student is, their gifts, background, and interests, yet they need the time and opportunities to develop them. With proper guidance and work, they will make great contributions to their families and communities.

In our classroom, we work to support each person​ and treat each other as family. We all know that mistakes are a welcome part of learning, and provide a chance to improve and support one another. I love being with these future leaders and want to give them the best educational experience possible.

My Project

We often use online learning programs that help differentiate students' learning experience. The programs include language arts, math, typing and occasionally science. This individualized help is priceless to their growth and overall education, and is hard to achieve when they struggle to focus on their own work.

Sadly, some of my students do not own their own headphones, which slows their progress and creates some difficulties in the learning environment.

By providing students with access to headphones, their experience can be more rewarding and well-rounded.

It's amazing how one small tool can make a world of difference in someone's learning experience.
