it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are bright, curious, hard-working 6th graders at a social justice humanities magnet program at a Los Angeles public school. I learn new things from my students every day - their brilliance, compassion and humor never fail to inspire me!
This is my students' first year in middle school, and the first year back in the classroom after over a year of closures due to COVID-19.
My goal is to make this the best year ever for my students. They are kind, caring, and want to change the world - help me make their dreams a reality!
My Project
My students need headphones for in-class use! I am lucky to teach at a school where all students have access to chromebooks. This allows me to differentiate instruction, incorporate engaging media, and prepare my students for future success in high school, college, and beyond.
Having a set of in-class headphones for students to use while they are working independently will enable me to use the technology we have to its maximum potential.
Headphones will help my students focus, allow them to access videos at their own pace, and allow students to use supports like text-to-speech features an more.
