Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students use headphones in school for several reasons. Firstly, headphones can help students to focus and concentrate on their work by blocking out distracting noises from the surrounding environment. This is especially important in noisy classrooms or open-plan learning spaces.
Headphones can be used to facilitate audio-based learning activities.
For example, students will need to listen to recordings of books, educational videos, or other audio materials as part of their coursework. In these cases, headphones can help ensure students can hear the content clearly and without interruption.
In our class, headphones are used to meet the needs of all of our learners as their Chromebooks are used to individualize and differentiate their instruction. First graders, especially since they are only at the beginning of their journey, often need directions and instructions read to them, which headphones will allow. Additionally, with the inclusion of the microphone, students can record their thinking by speaking rather than being limited to what they are able to write.
Headphones can help to create a more focused, productive, and efficient learning environment for students in our class.
