This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our class loves to read and use technology! I have started introducing online app like EPIC and IXL that often require headphones for concentration. Headphones will provide students with a safe place in the classroom to concentrate and listen to book in both languages using online apps. These headphones will open the world of possibilities to my students and will provide them with a vast library of high interest books and resources that I am unable to provide them within my classroom. Most students in my class are unable to purchase and provide their own headphones. Privacy folders will add another layer for privacy and a safe space for students to practice their reading fluency.
