My Students
I am so excited to be teaching 3rd grade this year. I am passionate about urban education and believe my kiddos deserve the same opportunities no matter where they come from. My school receives 100% free and reduce lunch. They come from diverse backgrounds and their academic levels range from kindergarten to 3rd grade.
Knowledge is power.
My students can change the world; they just need the right tools. As a teacher, I am dedicated to empowering my students to be the best they can be personally and academically.
My Project
My students are so eager to learn new things. They are on different levels academically, but that does not stop their love for learning. Having headphones for all my students will allow them to stay engaged. At the beginning of the year, having 20 laptops going at the same time was very distracting for the students. I bought some cheap headphones that were not compatible with our computers. One of the ears has gone out in almost all of them as well. The students and I often times get frustrated, but we do with what we have. Having quality headphones will help my students continue to learn and grow.
